The member area naviagtion is easy to use, and very similar to the tour. There are navigation links running across the page near the top of all the pges, and if you want to get back to the member home page at any time, just click THE DEN on the far left. The left side of the page includes a link to the live shows, an ad, bonus site updates, ads that look sort of like content, more stuff and finally customer service phone numbers. The main page includes the live show schedule, updates and other site features. Hairy Boyz currently offers 258 videos, which is 116 more than there were on our last visit 28 months ago. That averages around 1 update per week.
Each Hairy Boyz video is offered as a downloadable WMV, and also in 2 streaming formats – Flash and WMV – that can be played in 4 sizes. The best quality videos are shown between 640×480 and 850×478 with a bitrate of over 700k. These range in quality from average to a little on the blurry side, but most aren’t bad. The downloadable videos are the same size and bitrate, but they use DRM, which means they won’t play after your membership is expired, nor will they play for Mac and Linux users.
When it comes to photos, there are 3 options. There are 264 photo sets in the Hardcore Pics section. These are digital stills, the newer shown at 480×720 and the older ones shown at 383×576, and not only are these pics good quality, but they have good photography, lighting and production values. There are an average of 26 pics per set in the hardcore pics. There are also over 200 solo pic sets in the section called The Men, which is the model index. These pics are also mostly good quality, and shown from 492×737 to 624×936. Last, each video comes with a set of vidcaps at average vidcap quality, the oldest offering only a few pics but the newest sets offering the same amount of pics and in the other sets.
The men of Hairy Boyz include plenty of hairy and masculine muscle men, horny bears, plus some more slender but also furry guys, although while the guys are hairy, some have trimmed body hair rather than fully natural. There’s plenty of fucking, cock sucking, rimming and cum, and there’s also some fetish and BDSM action, as well as a few dark moody artsy type pieces. All in all, there’s enough here to keep members busy, and I’d say the extras do add value.
The issue I have with this site is that the downloadable versions of the videos are DRM-protected. What this means is that they won’t play after your membership has expired, and won’t play for Mac and Linux users. Those who can’t play DRM on their computer should be able to stream the videos, however.
Hairy Boyz a great site if you’re into masculine hairy men, plenty of big cocks and steaming hardcore action. The site offers 258 videos and over 450 pic sets, which is enough content to keep members busy, and the site averages 1 update per week. While there are downloadable as well as streaming videos, the vids do use DRM, so that may be something to keep in mind. Full members of Hairy Boyz get access to a good-sized collection of bonus feeds and sites, plus scheduled live shows and hundreds of live show reruns. If hairy hunks, muscle bears, and other kinds of hairy men turn your crank, and you don’t mind DRM, Hairy Boyz is definitely worth checking out.
