The member area is very clearly laid out. The top navigation leads the user to videos & latest updates, exclusive feeds, video feeds, models and support. There are links and dropdowns allowing members to browse this site and the other sites in the network, plus there is a search box. Members can browse episodes either by thumbnails or detailed profile, number of episodes per page, and what page the user wishes to skip to. This is a new site, so there are only 12 episodes at the moment, which are all dated. Until last month the site was updating on alternate Saturdays but in October they changed update schedule and started addng a new episode every ten days. The home page is the network home page, not this site’s home page, and features two coming attractions and the four most recent updates, all of which are dated.
The quality of the Lollipop Twinks videos is good, with great lighting, sound and camerawork. You have the option of either downloading each video or watching it streamed from the site. To download, you can save either on your desktop or your iPod or iPhone. There are two options available for each, high or ultra high. The ultra high WMVs and MP4s are shown at 768×432 with a bit rate of 2.02 Mbps, and as already mentioned, the quality is good – very good in most cases. There’s also a lower speed broadband version for each format. No DRM is used. For streaming there are four options to choose from – low, medium, high and high definition at 544×305 – which isn’t really HD.
Each video comes with a set of pics, averaging about 100 pics per video. These pics are one of the best things this site has to offer. They are of excellent quality, really well shot and lit with plenty of closeups and action shots. In addition they are all available for download as a zip file. One small quibble is that no slide shows are offered, but that is a small thing, and most pic lovers will be very pleased with the high quality pics this site has to offer.
All of the models are 18 to 24 with smooth slender bodies. In short, the typical twink, which means that casting is spot-on. The guys are mostly very cute, and the action is hot, shot by well-known twink porn director Afton Nills. All the action is hardcore fucking and sucking, and two things stand out – one is that the boys all suck on lollipops throughout the action. The site has no major issues. Yes, it’s small, but it’s also new. The high definition videos aren’t actually high definiton, which was a little disappointing, but honestly the highest quality WMVs and MP4s are good stuff, so it wasn’t very disappointing. Overall I’d say this site is doing almost everything right, and I look forward to watching it grow.
